My name is Chris Fontes. I live currently in Fresno, California (USA for all you international types). I have been programming for several years, and mostly code web applications (PHP, javascript, CSS, AJAX theory, Flash, Java, etc).
I am married to the most beautiful and wonderful wife a man could ever want, and have been blessed with two boys (currently ages 2 and 7).
I also proactive Jeet Kune Do, a martial art developed by Bruce Lee, although with time constraints haven’t been in a while.
Most importantly, I am head first, completely devoted to Jesus Christ. He is the Lord, our God, and has died for our iniquities. With His death and resurrection, He has given us a chance at new life. Without Him, there is no way to the Father.
The reason I call this Blog “code collections”, is two fold. First, I want to collect and write about all those funky things in programming that takes hours to figure out, either because the problem is so obscure no one else has ran into it, or there is simply not enough documentation on the issue.
Secondly, I want to write about my personal “code”. Code of conduct, code of morals, etc. This includes my walk with Christ, my family and everything else I am involved in.
I hope that someone can find some of this information useful or entertaining. If even one person enjoys it, it is worth my time.
